LEWA FOCUS Cucumber Mint
Focus pouches are caffeine pouches that their makers position for focus. Today the category holds LEWA FOCUS Cucumber Mint, and more brands are on the way.
"Focus pouches" and "nootropic pouches" are marketing names, not regulated categories. They describe nicotine-free pouches that a maker positions for focus, with caffeine and other named ingredients on the ingredient list.
LEWA markets FOCUS as its focus pouch. The can lists:
Product: LEWA FOCUS Cucumber Mint Caffeine per pouch: 20 mg Also listed: magtein, vitamin B12, vitamin B5 Format: Slim, 0.6 g, 18 per can |
Magtein is a brand name for magnesium L-threonate, a compound of magnesium and threonic acid. Vitamins B12 and B5 are water-soluble B vitamins. The rest of the list is the usual pouch base: MCC (bulking agent E460), water, flavourings, propylene glycol, salt and sweeteners. The flavour is cucumber and mint. Like the rest of our nicotine-free range, it contains 0 mg nicotine and no tobacco.
With 20 mg, LEWA FOCUS is in the light caffeine level, together with LEWA BURN and LEWA GLOW. Caffeine is a stimulant, and the way people respond to it varies. The caffeine levels page compares the whole range.
Until then, caffeine & energy pouches shows the rest of the caffeine range, from 20 mg to 100 mg per pouch.
Nicotine-free pouches that the maker positions for focus, usually with caffeine and some named vitamins or minerals. "Focus" is the maker's positioning, not a regulated term.
In practice, yes. Both are marketing names for the same idea.
