Every nicotine-free pouch we stock, sorted by how much caffeine one pouch contains. Four levels, from none at all to 100 mg.
Caffeine is printed on the can in mg per pouch, which makes it the clearest way to tell these products apart. We group the range into four levels:
Level: Caffeine-free Caffeine per pouch: 0 mg Products: 34 zero-nicotine pouches with no caffeine listed |
Level: Light Caffeine per pouch: under 40 mg Products: LEWA BURN Citrus Mint, LEWA FOCUS Cucumber Mint, LEWA GLOW Strawberry Vanilla (20 mg each) |
Level: Regular Caffeine per pouch: 40–79 mg Products: LEWA POWER Liquorice Raspberries, Cola Lime, Apple Spruce and Functional Wintermint (50 mg); CAMO Bubble Gum, Vanilla Coffee and Iced Mocha (77 mg) |
Level: Strong Caffeine per pouch: 80 mg and above Products: CAFERO Americano, Cappuccino and Vanilla Latte (80 mg); Hicaff Classic Cola Slim, Energy Rush Slim and Fresh Mint Slim (100 mg) |
The caffeine-free level is much the largest. The light level is entirely LEWA, and two of its three pouches carry the maker's focus and wellness positioning. Coffee flavours cluster towards the top, with all three CAFERO pouches and two from CAMO. Hicaff's 100 mg is the highest amount in the range. Every pouch at every level contains 0 mg nicotine and no tobacco.
For a sense of scale, EFSA's 2015 scientific opinion on caffeine considers single doses of up to 200 mg, and habitual intake of up to 400 mg a day, of no safety concern for healthy non-pregnant adults. Caffeine is a stimulant, and how you respond to it is individual.
The two LEWA CLASSIC pouches sit in caffeine-free because LEWA states no caffeine amount, even though their list includes yerba mate, a plant that naturally contains caffeine.
In our range, between 20 mg and 100 mg per pouch. The amount is printed on each can.
Hicaff, at 100 mg per pouch across all three flavours. CAFERO follows at 80 mg.
Yes. The 34 zero-nicotine pouches list no caffeine and carry flavour only.
EFSA considers up to 400 mg a day of no safety concern for healthy adults, and EFSA and the Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) both give 200 mg a day, from all sources, during pregnancy. Under EU food labelling law (Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011, Annex III), foods with added caffeine are marked as not recommended for children or pregnant women. These are reference points, not limits.
