Smögen Nicotine Pouches
Smögen makes Strong pouches in slim format — a small Swedish range built on mint and west-coast berry flavours.
About Smögen Nicotine Pouches
Smögen is a Swedish nicotine pouch brand owned by Smögensnus AB, a company founded in autumn 2024 by Christian, Magnus and Patrik, joined shortly after by Elliot, Michael and Emma. The brand draws its name from the founders' hometown of Smögen on the Bohuslän coast in west Sweden, and translates the salt-sprayed cliffs and Skagerrak sea breeze into the flavour vocabulary of every can.
A "timeless" Swedish brand
Smögensnus AB sets out its positioning explicitly. The brand is built to read as "timeless", pointing to heritage Swedish snus names such as General, Ettan and Göteborgs Rapé as the stylistic reference rather than the short, trend-driven names dominating the modern nicotine pouch category. The maritime design language and the mature flavour profiles are both deliberate counterpoints to category convention.
Smögen flavours stocked at 24Nico
The Smögen range at 24Nico covers three coastal-Swedish flavour profiles, each at the same 8 mg strength:
- Seabreeze Mint: a clean coastal mint with a cooling note and a hint of xylitol sweetness.
- Westcoast Berries: blackberry and raspberry as the lead, with a touch of blueberry and a light sweetness underneath.
- Stormy Licorice: a darker liquorice root profile with a salty edge and a salmiak tone.
Strength and format
All three Smögen flavours arrive at 8 mg of nicotine per pouch (13.3 mg/g), which sits in the Strong tier on our scale. The format is slim and the can holds 20 pouches, giving 160 mg of nicotine across a can. The same strength runs across the full range, so the choice between cans is a matter of flavour rather than dose.
