Sleep & Relax Pouches

What this category will contain

This category is for nicotine-free pouches that their makers position for evening use. None are on sale at 24Nico today.

Pouches positioned for the evening are usually caffeine-free. Instead of caffeine, their panels tend to list ingredients such as L-theanine, an amino acid found naturally in tea leaves; chamomile, a flowering plant best known as a herbal tea; or melatonin, a hormone the body produces that is also made synthetically. Melatonin is regulated differently from one market to the next, and whether a pouch containing it can be sold depends on the rules where you live. No pouch with melatonin is sold at 24Nico today.

When products arrive, each product page will show what the panel lists and in what amount. Here's what to check on the can:

• Nicotine: 0 mg, and no tobacco.
• Caffeine: a caffeine-free pouch lists none. Also look for ingredients that contain caffeine naturally, such as yerba mate or guarana.
• Amounts: a clear label states how much of each named ingredient is in one pouch, not just that it's there.
• The base: fiber, water, salt, sweeteners and flavorings, the same as any other nicotine-free pouch.
• Directions and warnings: the maker prints them on the can. Read them before you use the product.

Until this category opens, the closest match in our range is the caffeine-free side. There are 34 zero-nicotine pouches with 0 mg nicotine and no caffeine listed, in mint, fruit, berry, licorice and snus-style flavors. The caffeine-free filter shows the same set.
