Widest flavor range: ZERONITO

ZERONITO is the brand with the most flavors in our nicotine-free range: 14 products, 11 in Slim format and three in Large. The Slim pouches weigh 0.7 g each (Jalapeno is 0.6 g) and come 20 to a can; the Large pouches weigh 0.8 g and also come 20 to a can.

The flavor list runs wider than most brands in the format: Icy Mint, Cola, Espresso, Blue Raspberry, Strawberry Lime, Melon Rush, Honey Melon Ice, Peach Ice, Exotic, Blueberry Chilli, Jalapeno, Lakrits (licorice, in both Slim and Large "Original"), and Stark Original, a bergamot flavor with citrus notes.

The panels that are published list water, a bulking agent (E460, plant fiber), flavorings, salt, salmiak (E510, ammonium chloride), a humectant (E422, glycerol), a thickener (E401, sodium alginate), sweeteners and an acidity regulator (E500). The sweeteners vary by flavor: Icy Mint and Lakrits Original list E950, E967 and E955; Cola, Melon Rush, Blueberry Chilli and Strawberry Lime list E955 only; Stark Original lists no sweetener at all. Six ZERONITO products (Espresso, Exotic, Honey Melon Ice, Jalapeno, Lakrits Slim, Peach Ice) have no published ingredient list.

Xylitol-sweetened: VELO Zero

VELO Zero is the one line where xylitol (E967) appears on every panel. The four flavors are Bright Peppermint, Purple Grape, Tropical Mango and Wintery Watermelon. All four are Slim, 0.7 g per pouch, 20 per can, white pouch.

Xylitol is a sugar alcohol, sometimes called birch sugar. On the VELO Zero panels it sits alongside a second sweetener, E955 (sucralose) on Bright Peppermint, Purple Grape and Wintery Watermelon, and E950 (acesulfame K) on Tropical Mango and Wintery Watermelon. The rest of the panel is the standard base: bulking agent (E460), water, flavorings, sodium chloride (salt) and an acidity regulator (E500). Tropical Mango and Wintery Watermelon also list a thickener (E401), and Tropical Mango lists ammonium chloride (E510).

Who it suits: anyone who reads the sweetener line before anything else and wants xylitol on it. The line is at VELO Zero.

Coffee flavors: six pouches, two routes

Coffee is a small but distinct flavor family in the nicotine-free range, and it splits into two routes: a coffee-flavored zero-nicotine pouch with no caffeine figure, and coffee-flavored caffeine pouches with a printed amount per pouch.

Zeronito Espresso is the only coffee flavor that is not a caffeine pouch; our product page describes it as roasted coffee depth, and no caffeine amount is printed for it. CAMO's two coffee pouches are described as dark coffee with a chocolate note (Iced Mocha) and sweet vanilla with roasted coffee tones (Vanilla Coffee). CAFERO's three are all coffee: Americano with lightly roasted notes, Cappuccino with milky notes, Vanilla Latte with vanilla.

Who it suits: anyone who likes the taste of coffee in pouch form. If you want the flavor without a caffeine figure, Zeronito Espresso is the only option. If you want caffeine as well, CAMO and CAFERO cover it at 77 and 80 mg. All six are filtered at coffee flavors.

Large format: four pouches in a bigger pouch

Most nicotine-free pouches are Slim. Four are Large, from ZERONITO and LEWA.

The two LEWA CLASSIC pouches are the heaviest in the catalog at 0.9 g, and their panel is short: water, MCC (bulking agent E460), yerba mate, salt, propylene glycol, ammonium chloride, sodium carbonate, flavorings, stevia. Yerba mate is a South American plant; LEWA lists it as an ingredient and describes a dry undertone in the flavor. Taste of Tobacco is a flavor name; the pouch contains no tobacco.

Who it suits: anyone who prefers a fuller pouch under the lip, and anyone looking for a traditional Scandinavian flavor profile, which is where licorice, salmiak and bergamot come from. Both ZERONITO Originals and both LEWA CLASSIC pouches sit in the Large format filter.

By count and weight: Onico, XQS, Après and LEO

If the criterion is pouches per can, Onico Pure White Slim leads with 22 per can, in two flavors: Cool Mint and Black Cherry. Everything else in the range is 18 or 20. The Onico panel is cellulose, water, glycerol, sodium chloride, propylene glycol, flavorings and magnesium hydroxide carbonate; Black Cherry adds acesulfame K.

If the criterion is the lightest pouch, XQS Virgin Peppermint ZERO is 0.5 g and Après Zero is 0.55 g, both 20 per can. XQS lists E460, water, flavorings, a humectant (E1520), salt, acidity regulators (E330, E500) and sweeteners (E950, E955). Après Zero comes in four flavors (Mint, Blueberry, Ice Tea Peach, Raspberry Liquorice) but has no published ingredient list.

LEO Zero is the pick for a berry and "ice" range: six Slim pouches at 0.7 g and 20 per can, five of them with a cooling note (Black Ice, Blue Razz Ice, Freeze Ice, Sour Peach, Watermelon Ice) plus Black Cherry. The LEO panels name compounds in full (cellulose, glycerol, sodium bicarbonate, sucralose) rather than by E-number.

Caffeine options: 20 to 100 mg per pouch

Caffeine is a stimulant; how you respond to it is individual. Caffeine pouches are sold as dietary supplements or foods under FDA rules, and the ingredients panel plus a supplement-facts style label are what the law expects. Rules can change. Whatever the pick, the base of a nicotine-free pouch is the same: plant fiber (usually microcrystalline cellulose, E460), water, salt, flavorings, sweeteners, a humectant to keep the pouch moist and a pH regulator. No tobacco leaf, no nicotine, nothing heated or inhaled.

What varies is the detail: which sweetener, whether there is a cooling agent, whether yerba mate or caffeine is listed. Eleven products have no published ingredient list (four Après Zero, six ZERONITO and LOOP Ice Cool Mint Zero). The ingredients panel on each can is the source of truth.
