About Skruf Superwhite and Skruf Intense
Skruf is a Swedish snus maker built around a single idea: that the Swedish snus market needed more than one player. Its tobacco-free pouches come in two lines. Superwhite is the broad range, with a wide spread of flavours and strengths. Intense is the newer, narrower line for experienced users, with cooling ice flavours and "Ultra Strong" printed on every can. Both use a plant-fibre base with added nicotine and flavourings, and neither contains tobacco.
Skruf's brand history
Skruf was founded in 2002 by friends Adam and Jonas in Småland, southern Sweden, with the explicit aim of opening up the Swedish snus market against the then-monopoly. The challenger position stuck: today Skruf describes itself as the Nordics' second-largest snus manufacturer, with more than 300 employees. Imperial Brands has owned Skruf Snus AB since the 2005 acquisition.

Skruf Superwhite: the broad range
Superwhite is slim-pouch led, with most cans holding 24 pouches. The flavours group into four families:
- Mint: No 53 Fresh Mint Strong, No 54 Fresh Mint Extra Strong, Crystal Fresh Extra Strong (eucalyptus and menthol) and No 60 Frozen Mint Super Slim Extra Strong, the line's only Super Slim
- Berry: No 62 Indigo Berry (blackberry with mint and liquorice notes) and No 63 Purple Cassice Strong (blackcurrant)
- Liquorice: No 56 Nordic Liquorice, a sweet-salty dark liquorice
- Aloe: Aloe Fresh, aloe vera paired with spearmint
Skruf Intense: the higher-strength line
Intense keeps to one theme: a cooling ice finish over a single lead flavour. Every can holds 20 slim pouches and carries the "Ultra Strong" name, but the nicotine content differs, so check mg per pouch rather than the name on the can.
