KLAR is the consumer pouch brand from Emplicure, an independent Swedish bioscience company based in Uppsala. Emplicure was founded in 2015 by Professor Håkan Engqvist, whose academic background sits in Applied Materials Science, and spent its early years developing bioceramic materials for medical applications such as implants and dentistry.
