Tuck one pouch under your top lip and leave it in place; there is no need to chew or spit. A pouch can stay in for up to 30 minutes, per VELO's own usage guide. Used pouches go in the storage compartment in the can lid, or straight in the bin.
VELO renamed several flavours in a 2024 refresh. Ice Cool became Crispy Peppermint, Freeze became Freezing Peppermint, Polar Mint became Bright Spearmint, Tropic Breeze became Tropical Mango, Royal Violet became Purple Grape, Cooling Storm became Peppermint Storm and Watermelon Mint became Wintery Watermelon. The pouches themselves are the same; only the names changed.

The naming story does not end there: several flavours were renamed again in a 2024 refresh, so a familiar variant may now sit under a new name with the same pouch inside.

Shift is VELO's newest line, launched in 2025, and it changes the pouch itself rather than the flavour list. The pouch is cut in a new shape, the first of its kind in the category, made to sit more naturally under the lip; VELO labels the format Comfort. The can followed, with a hexagonal design in 90% bio-based material. At 24Nico the line runs in two directions: Shift Hot with a warming spiced undertone, and Shift Cool with peppermint, both at 8 mg in the Strong tier.
VELO's name reaches well beyond the pouch shelf. Through BAT's sponsorship of the McLaren Formula 1 team, the brand has appeared on the team's cars, and the partnership runs into the range itself with limited editions inspired by the racing livery. At 24Nico that means McLaren Spicy Papaya: tropical papaya with a warming spiced note, at 8 mg in the Strong tier.
